i've had this lamp for i don't know how long....i bought it at a yard sale and it's been sitting around waiting on me to do something with it...i finally got an idea after searching on pinterest...
i know everybody has an opinion, but i actually like the way it looks...just not for my "new" room... |
a little bit of primer to get started...i used krylon white paint...its made for any surface.... |
i picked this color in krylon...i wanted something with a little more gold...the more i look at it the more i like it!! |
here is the shade that i will be using...i've tried spray painting one before but no luck with that...i see others doing it with success...not me! |
after i finished painting the shade, i added some burlap flowers onto it...i'm happy with my color choice...i can't wait to add some turquoise accessories in my "new room"... |
Peace, Love, & Joy

I love the fun happy pop of yellow! Cute shade too. Thanks for sharing and joining in on my newbie party.
It turned out really good! I like the shade of yellow/gold. I have a lamp I'd like to try that on. Thanks for the idea!

Wow great job! It is darling.
Hi Ashley! I love how your shade turned out and the burlap flowers are a great touch! I have been trying to get the guts to spray paint some shades in my dining room. I think some kilz may be in order! Thank you so much for linking your lamp up to Savvy HomeMade Monday!
I really love the yellow, i would smile every time I saw it :)
Hi Ashley, you did a wonderful job on the lamp - just the kind of thing I would like to do. Congratulations. I recently found your blog and am now following. Please pop on over to mine and perhaps you would also like to follow me. I would really like that. Hugs, Chris
